Graymills parts washer to be featured on ‘How it’s Made’

The episode will air on June 11 at 9 p.m. EST on the Science Channel.

Graymills Corporation, a Chicago based manufacturer of pumps and parts washers, will be featured in the highly acclaimed Science Channel series, How It’s Made. The episode will air on June 11 at 9 p.m. EST and demonstrates the production of an Immersion Parts Washer. 

This machine was designed, engineered and produced at Graymills factory in Chicago, IL, USA.

Viewers are taken through the steps of manufacturing this large unit, including laser cutting, metal folding, MIG welding and powder coating to the final assembly of the washer before shipment.  Ultimately, this unit will end up on the production floor of a large industrial manufacturing plant. 

With over 75 years of experience, privately held Graymills Corporation has withstood many changes in manufacturing and has built a local company that provides employment for almost 100 people.
